[FFRK] We created a ranking site.

We have created a fan tool for FFRK, and we would like to introduce it, or rather, in its declaration.

how it started

I have been playing around with making samples while learning a little bit about the Twitter API, and now that I have a certain understanding of it, I have decided to move on to the next step.

Since it is not interesting without a theme, we decided to use Record Keeper, which is a part of our daily life, as the theme for the main purpose of the project.

We have been working on an overseas version of Record Keeper for some time now, but if we go to the trouble, we would like to consider a system that allows communication between Japan and other countries, even if only indirectly.

We are also indexed in Google, so if you search for "FFRK time ranking" or something like that, you will find us at the bottom of the first page. (Of course, the top one is the official ranking.)

It is designed to be responsive, so this is what it looks like on a smartphone.
Or, rather, we prioritize visibility on a smartphone.

I am going off on a bit of a tangent here, but I am writing this because it is something I want to tell you.

The URL window will show a scary message "Not secure" if you are using an iPhone or something like that.

There are two types of sites on the Internet, "http" and "https," to give a very rough explanation, with the former having a loose security structure and the latter having a strong security structure.

With the iPhone, the former mechanism will unconditionally display this "Not Secure" message.

You may think, "You should use the latter! However, this site (and in the future) only handles open information (i.e., no input on the site itself), so we use the former system. So please do not worry.

*Well, to be honest, the main reason is that the latter involves a lot of time & (basically) cost to build and operate the system.

This is a bit of a digression, but often you will receive a malicious e-mail pretending to be from a shipping company, etc. that tries to get you to step on a link.

How the site works

The details of the mechanism will be introduced separately in a more technical format, but data is linked from Twitter based on certain rules using the Twitter API mechanism.

By the way, please be assured that the data collection is done mechanically by a program, and there is no willful action or check by me between Twitter and the site.

I'd rather leave it alone and I don't know if anything happens to it.

Also, please be assured that we do not take any responsibility for your personal information when you use our Twitter account, as it is linked to Twitter without authentication.

I wrote this in a complicated way, but to summarize roughly, if you enter specified keywords in the search window of the Twitter application, they will appear in the search results, right? The results are automatically summarized.

How to check rankings

Each dungeon has its own page, so you can check it by accessing the page you are looking for.

There is an entrance at the bottom of the screen. If you want to check the ranking of the "Door of Heaven's Life" for example, click (tap) on the crystal dungeon.

Next, each dungeon in the Crystal Dungeon will be displayed. Click (tap) on the "Mystery Girl" in the "Doors of Heavenly Life" group.

The corresponding ranking will be displayed.

You can access the tweet by clicking on the "Target Tweet" link.
The color of the background changes for less than 10 seconds and less than 30 seconds, respectively.

You can check your own position, use the times of the top rankers as a goal, or use yourself as a goal for others. Please feel free to use it as you wish.

Twitter can't even trace your own tweets after a certain period of time, so please use it as a memo.

Or rather, this memo-like use is the main one.

About Entry

The way to enter is by tweeting in a certain format.

If you have accidentally registered on a different page or at a different time, please delete the corresponding tweet and it will be deleted.
(We do not look into each individual account, as we only check whether or not the link is there.)

Please note that entries and deletions are automatically made at regular intervals, so they are not immediately reflected in your tweets.

We will adjust this as we see how things go. Currently, entries are updated every 15 minutes, and deletions are done every 24 hours, as it takes time. (This may change depending on the situation.)

Future Updates

The ranking is calculated by "#(hashtag)", so if you want to have an unofficial ranking event, you can create a ranking by using a different "#(hashtag)".

Finally

Basically, we are self-reporting, so there is no way to question the authenticity of your entry, but please keep that in mind as we are using a system that is tied to your Tweet.
